Working alongside ADCO Constructions and Health Infrastructure Queensland division of Queensland Health, the Buchan and HKS team’s combined Architectural and Clinical Planning expertise provided the critical design, documentation and oversight required to lead the Developed Design, Construction Documentation and Construction Service Phases of the Redland Hospital Expansion Stage 1 project.

Enhancing Queensland’s health infrastructure, the Redland Hospital Expansion Project delivers a new state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit and Inpatient Unit, delivering additional beds for this major health facility in Brisbane’s southern bayside suburbs. The new building connects to the existing hospital buildings via an enclosed elevated pedestrian link.
